Me & My Budgie - "The Story of Mountain Ash and Blueberry"

The Story of Mountain Ash and Blueberry
This isn't a huge story or anything, but i'd like to tell it because i loved my 2 birds, who sadly have passed on, Mountain Ash (don't ask, my brother was 11 and a huge nature freak) and Blueberry. Well when i was in the third grade i never wanted any pets exept for maybe a hamster and fish, my brother on the other hand wanted a bird. So for Chirstmas that year you guessed it, we each got to pick a bird out from the pet store... it was so exciting! I saw the one I wanted right away a blue budgie running in a wheel having fun. My brother took an hour to decide on a green bird (Mountain Ash). My parents wanted 2 males or 2 females, not one of each, but the birds were too young to tell so we had to hope... well about a year later Mountain Ash laid eggs! We had a dozen little eggs, it was the best!!! anyways, the birdds hatched, but we couldn't keep them all so we had to give them away. But once again me and my brother kept 2.. a light green one and a yellowish white one. Applepie and Bananna. These birds lived with their loving parents for several years, untill one day when we were away and my grandma was watching them for us, Mountain Ash died. I never realized what a great bird she was untill after she died. Blueberry,my baby died a year later. After that i have fallen i love with budgies. Bananna is the cutest thing ever, i have a guinnea pig (miss piggy) and the two love to see each other and play! Applepie stays in the cage and is much like her father Blueberry! anyways, that's the story of my Birdies!
