In Memory of Mikey
My family's little blue parakeet, Mikey, passed away this morning (July 7th, 2000) unexpectedly, at the age of about 10 years old. He made a lot of noise, but now that he is gone I'm really going to miss him.
Earlier this evening we had a short funeral for Mikey and my mom even said a little prayer for him. It is amazing how much a little bird could touch our hearts. Mikey was a part of my family for a long time and we will all miss him very much.
