Me & My Budgie - "Lucky Blue"

Honey come here, I heard my husband call from outside! I ran to the door to see what was the matter! To my suprise there was a tiny blue keet in my backyard! We tried to catch it by throwing a large towel over but it got away. I thought about the little thing all night. In the morning I was siting on the back porch thinking about the little keet, suddenly I realized it was sitting on the other side of the porch looking at me! I called my neighbor who keeps pigions and he let me borrow his net. Can you believe that I spent the next two hours chasing after the little keet! I even cought it once and it got away. Finally I secured it and gave it some food and water.
Lucky Blue is blue of course, and lucky to be found by a bird lover too! After about a month I let Lucky Blue make friends with our cockateil Alfie Sue. They ride on my shoulders and visit each other cage a few times each week. All ready they have some tricks they play on each other and me! Alfie has been a member of our family for a little over a year and Lucky for about two months!
